Breaking the familiar boundaries

Week5: Simple models and wooden models

• Simple paper models, lacking of elements also easy to fall off

Week5: Modelling of space on fusion 360 and laser cut file creation

• After going through the tutorials I learnt to model both interior and exterior space using fusion 360. Thus this lead up to the below model of my new plan of house.

• Laser cutting file process

Week 6 further model of wood

• After week 5 I decided to try another material modelling the house project
• The material chosen was plywood

• Another testing on the new study (concept)

Week 7 fusion 360 modelling with NAME

• Letter used Y - B - T
• Material one Wooden surface with mirror interior

• Material two red crystal surface

Week 8 fusion 360 modelling with project material test

• New house rendered both interior and exterior

• New house rendered with aid with realistic environment

Week 9 Final model

• Final model was made in scale of 1:100 with cardboard as material. It was also painted to show limited materialism

• Final model with add-ons

Conclusion: Overall I have learnt plenty on useful areas for future building environment communicating my designs such as modelling with fusion 360, making more accurate models with laser cuttings and also photoshopping.
